To be fair, he may be thinking American Africans as opposed to African Africans. Most African blacks I have met or worked with who were actually from Africa or Caribbean countries have been very well educated and are hard working, peaceful people. And... most of them don’t like American blacks.

That's been my experience with African Christians. Excellent neighbors and co-workers. But ask the people in Dearborn how they like the African muslims.

Based on my experiences in China, the only people that are lower than blacks on their totem pole are the Japanese (which is understandable, given their histories). The local markets will all haggle on prices, especially with silly outsiders, but several friends openly admitted to me that their bottom line prices follow a distinct pattern: best prices for locals, next best for Han Chinese, then white Westerners, then non-Chinese Asians, then non-Han Chinese, then blacks (American or African), then Japanese.

2. Red China invaded the country of East Turkestan and have subjected the Uighurs there to brutal suppression, oppression, ethnic cleansing, and periodic attempts at cultural genocide, while colonizing the area with Han Chinese. The world says nothing.

Excellent point now that you mention it.Not that it comes up in conversation, but I get the impression most of the Africans I work with are Christians or very non orthodox Muslims.

Not even a good place for blacks much less white yellow or red folk.
