A married middle-school English teacher and cheerleading coach is accused of having sex multiple times with an 15-year-old student and is now pregnant. Katherine Ruth Harper, 27, was arrested last week and charged with having an improper relationship with a student in Trophy Club, Texas, a wealthy suburb northwest of Dallas.

Your standards are too high for 15. I would have banged the heck out of her at 15, pregnant or not. You forget the hormones flowing in the blood of a 15 year old. Just about ANY port in that hormonal storm.
I don’t think he is...in most states, a married man is considered the father of whatever happens during marriage unless there is a DNA suit brought. Even then, some state laws over ride the biological evidence. What a terrible way to begin life, a father whom may not be the father and a mother whom is a floozy.

If 15 is below the age of consent, then the 15 year old cannot be responsible for the child’s support in any way shape or form, since he was legally “raped”.

Yep, the age of consent in Texas is 17, so the 15 year old was legally raped. He can’t be held responsible for the child. I doubt the ex-husband will help with that either. Mom is going to be on her own after she gets out of prison.

As far as I’m concerned the question of Guilty/Not Guilty! is still up in the air. However, there is testimony. To wit:
