“I wonder what Comey brought to his unannounced visit to the WH on 3/24/2017”

Did he show?

Agree. Zer0 may have overstepped his trust in MSM protection because I hope Trump goes after him and the MSM too. Zero will be left with some confused transgender garble for what he did.

From what I’ve seen, he doesn’t have a real “source” as you would define it in an investigation like this. The “source” appears to be someone who is simply telling Nunes where to find the incriminating information in existing Obama-era intelligence reports in the White House. This would explain why Nunes doesn’t need to identify anyone. He just needs to produce the copies of the intelligence reports.

This is the next takedown attempt. Flynn, Sessions, Nunes. All with something in common. Power to take down the corrupt.

Nunes transferred the pressure to Comey - nothings cancelled we’re just waiting for Comey to come back before us, because we have some more questions for him.

the dems are in full psycho panic mode, yelling at people in restaurants and other crazy stuff

30 seconds after he gave the individual’s identity (assuming there even is an individual and Nunez didn’t just suss this thing out himself), the Democrats would be demanding that the individual be jailed for violating various federal secrecy acts.

If there’s an individual who has clearance, and he/she provided information to Nunez (who’s also cleared), the source of Nunez’s information might, itself, still be secret. That’s most likely why he wants to get the FBI and NSA into a private meeting so that they can be the ones who provide information to the committee.

The only reason the Democrats want the identity of his source is so that they can target that person for one of their typical personal attacks.

That’s right. Do not trust Adam Schiff with your source! He’s a partisan hack!

Schiff has even more on Sanford beyond his little tryst.

Sounds like Nunes needs some things declassified, meanwhile the drum beat for him to recuse or step down will get louder and some Rinos join in. He has a limited amount of time to play this as the drum beat gets louder and he is painted to appear to have no credibility.

I believe the source is a white hat NSA type and a lot of data to go thru. He does not trust his fellow committee members and I don’t blame him. Any Pizza in these files?

Add to those, DNI Coates just slammed the door shut on any information being disseminated from this investigation to the Intel Committee. To me it is looking like several members of the committee are now the targets of the investigation.

Mark Sanford? The same Mark Sanford who took the mystery love trip to Argentina? The man who went poof! is demanding making anything public? That’s rich!

Nunez knows full well that if he reveals the source of his information the DemocRATS will leak it within ten minutes.

Yes, and he is in the freedom caucus and one of the 25 or so unwilling to compromise with President Trump. Are not conservative principles rich ?

I don’t think Nunez is a hero. He’s acting more like a grandstander.

I just don't like Mark Sanford. :-)

We may or may not part company on this one, but I am 100% with Dave Brat on this. One of the few Congress critters I respect.

Substance aside, this bill deserved defeat on roll out alone. Ryan seems to have thought we would be happy for something, we would support anything. I do not trust him as far as steps 2 & 3 went. We have been betrayed too often.

It was rushed out & poorly presented. So we are stuck with Obamacare for the short term. Better to sleep with the devil you know before marrying the devil you don't. Take the time to get it right instead of getting who knows what.

Ryan owns this. Blame him, not FC.

The timeline is simple:

1) Obama uses the pretext of "Russia intervened in the presidential election" to order surveillance (wiretapping) on Russia. This conveniently allowed him to wiretap Trump's transition team.

2) The raw wiretap data is widely distributed in the Whitehouse with no masking of names of the Trump team members.

3) Selective leaking of the wiretap information (such as the Flynn conversations and other Trump conversations) is leaked by the Obama Whitehouse to discredit the transition team.

4) Obama panics in his final days that some of the leakers might be prosecuted by Trump, and signs his last minute executive order allowing the wide dissemination of the raw intelligence data.

5) A whistleblower still in the Whitehouse trying to cover his own butt divulges the story to Nunes and offers to show him some of the transcripts.

6) These are only available on secure networks in the Whitehouse, so Nunes goes over to the Whitehouse to view them. He has full authority and clearance to do this.

7) Nunes sees and fully understands the gravity of what he sees, but needs to protect the identity of the whistleblower. He tells the president, the committee, and the press that he has seen the documents, and orders the appropriate Intelligence Agencies to turn over the actual documents to the House Intelligence Committee.

8)The FBI and NSA are stalling.
