I’m wondering what Rick and his survivors will use as a “force multiplier” when they take on the Saviors. They need some serious help.

We all know (or at least it’s often been said) that Negan’s crew badly outnumbers Rick’s team. Plus Rick & Co. are short on guns, which makes their situation even worse. It’s already been mentioned that Negan has a lot of worker bees, so his “teeth to tail ratio” is thankfully less than 100%.

Of course, small units have won lopsided victories over larger forces (Agincourt, Desert Storm, et al) but I’m not sure Rick’s people have a tactical mastermind to help pull off such an upset.

The way I see it, Rick either needs a big, hairy ally or something as-yet unknown (chemical weapons would be my first choice) to stand up against Negan’s forces.

I would rig those captured RPGs and dynamite to explode inside the Sanctuary as a crate is opened from an outside location.

I'd destroy the roads and cut the saviors off from the rest of the communities. They rely on the other communities to provide them food, so destroying the roads takes their food away. The other communities produce more food than they need to give to the saviors, so they won't be hurt. There are probably small streams between them with bridges over them that can't get repaired with their current technology after the apocalypse.

Once they are hungry, the saviors will split apart on their own looking for food, and they can be handled by the other communities.
