“Extended season finale” next week. End of negan? Then what?

(thanks for doing these threads. Did you think it would last this long? haha)

Both Heath and Sherry are missing.
It is unusual for a character to disappear with no closure.

Now that Sasha has the poison pills will she seduce
Negan and swallow the pills before they hop in the
sack? Better yet she can spike his Kool-Aid!

siege tactics are expensive in terms of manpower; think vicksburg, richmond, etc.

The Oceanside sub-plot seemed rushed and anticlimactic. Guess their security people weren't the Amazon warriors that were depicted in the earlier episodes.

Oh, and though I'm disappointed in Eugene, I'd *really* love to see Gregory and Lucille get together.

Heath’s actor got a starring role in another series so they have parked him for now. That’s fairly common in soap operas which run forever and it gives the actors a way to work on other projects, allowing them to reappear when they finish up. Whether or not they ever do is up to the script writers and producers. Some people like to read the comics in order to speculate on what happens in the tv series but they don’t always follow each others storylines.
Same thing with Sherry. She is working on a movie so she may or may not be back later.

If you are wondering how the Sasha story is going to work out, look at Holly’s story in the comics

Funniest line from Eugene: “Full disclosure.. it isn’t hypoallergenic”. Sasha, Sasha, Sasha... what will you do? Take the poison so you don’t hurt any of your people OR bide your time and look for a chance to kill Neegan? My BIG question is this: Neegan told Sasha that “word on the street is Rick is up to no good”. Who told Neegan this intel? It’s definitely not Oceanside. I am wondering about the garbage people? Is the weird woman with the strange hair playing both sides? I guess time will tell....

I think Sasha was playing Eugene and disappointed when he brought her poison instead of a weapon which is what she wanted.

I wonder if they will show her lone assault on Negan's compound in a flashback next week? How many did she kill? Negan made it sound like she caused a lot of havoc....

I’m thinking she did a LOT of damage. When Negan said, “beachball size lady nuts”... I laughed myself sick. Negan seems to be one of those people who “respects” people with guts. IMHO... Eugene is on the fence. He admits he is a coward and yet... gives Sasha the poison so she won’t have to “hurt our people”. I predict (and I’ve been way wrong before) that Eugene finds his backbone after Sasha’s death. Well... I hope that is what happens. Eugene is a strange character to me... I feel empathy for him. The other cowards.. NO.

No, I think next week is the FINALE. TWD only does 16 eps a season. Next Sunday will be episode 16.

Back at the Hilltop, didn't Gregory pull out a map and then get an underling to drive him somewhere shortly before that Negan scene?
