You either live politics or were from CT or the east coast at the time. Sadly none of these clowns go off to invent the latest breakthrough in biotech etc. they have to do what they do, lawyer up and finagle some piece of legislation for the highest bidder....
Lived in CT (except college) until 1998, still go regularly for family, friends and apizza. Toby Moffett wanted news coverage and he wanted to be elected to something ... anything! He was easy to remember because his name is Toby.
