This seems reasonable that they could just modify the Naples chip in some way and do this if they decided there was a market for it,.

The Naples chip has 8 channel DDR4.

But it is clocked lower.

You will love Ryzen over Intel then.

My Ryzen 7 is kicking the crap out of my Intel i7 7700K in damn' near everything.

And I mean kicking the crap out of it. Even though Intel dropped the 7700k down to $349, I'd *still* buy the Ryzen at $499 over it.

I'm not a gamer. I do video editing, coding, virtualization and productivity stuff and this is where Ryzen really shines over Intel.

So nice to see competition in the Desktop CPU space again.
