I am on the regular Gallup email poll panel or one
of them anyway. I get one or two polls per month
but don’t respond as much anymore. When GW was prez
almost every questionnaire started with a question
about how Bush was doing even if the subject was driving
habits. When Obalma took over that question all but
went away.

Maybe my memory is faulty but I seem to recall Gallup said they were giving up polling due to the fact that the accuracy of them can no longer be guaranteed due to all the changes in society these days. Perhaps it was just for Presidential elections only.
