Every real soldier I’ve ever known was able to cry. Never did it for impact, but wasn’t ashamed of it either. Even I’ve had overly-active tear ducts a time or two.

“A man who can’t cry scares me.”

That comment does not point out any shortcoming on the part of a man who won’t cry. It points out that emotional princesses are scared by men who control their emotions.
