Not a bad pop song.

Bow Wow Wow are an English 1980s new wave band, created by Malcolm McLaren. The group's music has been described as new wave, pop and worldbeat, characterized by an "African-derived drum sound"...

Dave Barbarossa (born 1961 in London, England) is an English drummer. He attended the Central Foundation Boys' School.

As part of both Adam and the Ants and Bow Wow Wow, Barbarossa was instrumental in creating the "Tribal" drumming trend that was popular among British and some American bands, circa 1979–1983. The two most famous examples of this style were Bow Wow Wow and Adam and the Ants, but it also included Public Image Ltd., The Cult, and Killing Joke.

This was a fantastic song. It was true to the original version with its Bo Diddley beat, yet added those terrific tribal drums and New Wave sensibilities.

I saw Bow Wow Wow in SanFran 1980 - they opened for The Go-Gos. I think the venue was The Cinema - a movie theater on Market Street where they ripped out the seats.

BWW was a more modern version of The Monkeys but they were pretty good.

37 years ago! oh man.

Way I heard it, The Ants got sick and tired of Adam and kicked him to the curb in favor of the Burmese chick.

You are correct — and who has the last laugh now? ADAM!

He’s selling out venues in the US and, in fact, sold out the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles within days.

He was here in DC on Jan. 23rd to a sold-out crowd.
