A friend puts something in his hears with Q-tips, don’t go digging in their with a Q-tip, lightly does it. Think it was called “sweet oil”, and you get it at the pharmacy. I started using it, and it helps after a few weeks. But finally the pharmacist told me just to use straight old olive oil on a Q-Tip coz’ the other is just oil with some dilution added. Makes me think perhaps some tinnutis is caused by dry, stopped up ears. Give it a try...doesn’t hurt.

I haven’t tried that but I seem to get some relief by taking 20 mg of lutein a day.

Sweet oil is olive oil.

Thanks for that tip. My daughter has frequent ringing in her ear. Only happens in the ear in which she is partially deaf.

She tries to ignore it, but if olive oil can give her relief, we’ll try it.
