Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned the European Union (EU) that if the diplomatic spat between Turkey and several European countries continues, Europeans won’t be able to walk their own streets safely. President Erdoğan made the comments Wednesday in what is another increase of tensions between Turkey and the EU that began when Germany and the Netherlands banned several Turkish ministers from holding campaign rallies for the upcoming Turkish referendum. Erdoğan has threatened Europe before, but this time he threatened the safety of Europeans if the row continues, Die Welt reports.

“If you continue to behave like this, not a single European, not a single Westerner will be able to take a step on the road safely anytime in the world,” Erdoğan said at a press conference adding: “We as Turkey are calling on Europe to respect human rights and democracy.”

This character is going off the deep end. He just won’t shut up. In a sane world, he’d already have gotten some severe responses from the EU, but who knows how many such threats they’ll just shrug off.

This is all going somewhere.

Only one culture can remain standing in Europe when this is over.

That was just to counter soviets and keep Greece from constantly fighting with them. No more sov’s and Greece should have our blessings. Armenia would help.

The Turks have made it clear that the deal is on the table and have threatened to scrap it and send 15,000 migrants a month to Europe.

The EU should begin turning all migrants back at sea and return any who still manage to make landfall. Of course they won't.

And Turkey is going to vote on doing away with the PM position, so Erdogen can be president until 2029. It has been reported that thinks he is the next Caliph and is wanting to bring back the Ottoman empire.

This is good stuff from Erdogan.

Let’s hope he repeats it loudly, and often. Something needs to wake the Europeans.

Europeans have always been much more conformist and collectivist, and it always takes huge political and social earthquakes to prompt change. Right now the elitist, leftist, social-engineering Brussels bureaucracy and NATO security apparatus control the narrative, and massive debt and their printed currency grease the grooves.

I hope to see major cracks appearing in this system, or when it does break, Europe will be too far along in its social-engineering to reconstruct as a Western, free, Christian society.

The only appropriate response to a threat like that is to deport all illegals in Europe, regardless of where they come from, and to deport the vast majority of legal residents from the countries issuing threats.

Yep, and in recent months Erdogan has been explaining real Islam to any who will listen. Many still refuse to listen and hear the truth.
