It's easy to mock this, but then we'd probably have raids on illegal horse meat in the U.S., which, like beef, shouldn't be prohibited.

(Not to mention Amish farmers getting busted over raw milk.)

The strict Hindu’s persecute you if you eat cow. Radical Islamists persecute you if you eat pig. Self righteous vegans persecute you if you eat any meat. Enviro whack jobs persecute you if you eat anything that’s not recycled. Eff them all and eat what you want.

"Yogi Adityanath is known for his polarising and inflammatory speeches against Muslims, and has called for harsher penalties for the slaughter of cows, which is already illegal in most Indian states.

He was chosen to lead Uttar Pradesh after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party swept state polls earlier this month, in part on a pledge to close unlicensed traders and illegal beef outlets."

Sounds like fullfilling campaign promises is catching on.

In our company when the reps from Japan visit here you would think they would want fish and salads for dinner. Rather they want the steaks and meats for dinner entrees.

There is something about dietary regimens that turns people into religious zealots demanding you worship the same food as they. Must be so psychological mechanism

I think young women use veganism as an excuse not to eat correctly so to keep their weight down but what do I know about that really.

Lots of vegans around here in L.A. I mock them, evolution is sad, look at your teeth etc. They get upset. When/If they get a chance they will make veganism mandatory - meat is murder you know ... yummy delicious murder

“There is something about dietary regimens that turns people into religious zealots... “

IMO there is much unsaid in this article.
The cows are a pretext, the underlying form is , muzzies kill many Hindus.

I worked at BAPS of Bartlett and often ate with workers /volunteers; all veggies all the time.

The fear of another attack on them often comes up.About 50 KIA at the home Temple in India.

Never any questions of my diet!

If you are ever in Chicagoland, well worth the time.
The Tribune called it the eighth wonder of the world.
Open to the public, it’s free and it’s beauty is stunning.

If you eat there, the peppers are NUCLEAR GRADE+.
