I have a brand new laptop running 64 bit windows 10. It STILL doesn’t know it is a laptop. Whenever I go to sign on, the on screen keyboard pops up. There is no apparent way to disable this.

Try this ...

• Click “Start” > “Settings“.
• Choose “Ease of Access“.
• Select “Keyboard“.
• Set “On-Screen Keyboard” to “On” or “Off” as desired.
