Not bitten personally but my dog sure yelped when a “harmless” oak snake struck him.
Startled dogs yelp as loud as hurt ones... often louder- dogs are such drama queens.
Not surprised, as he was probably startled. Having personally been bitten by Eastern and California King snakes, Corn snakes, Ball Pythons, Gopher snakes, Black Racers, I can testify that my most egregious wounds came from my cats. But they are cute and cuddly, so that
