Men who get caught in this sort of web are gullible
cretins. These teens on the web are almost always police
officers. - My cousin, a bigshot lawyer in a small town,
got caught up in this exact trap. He’s still in prison;
and most likely never collected on any of that “sex”. He
drove to the site to meet “her”, only landed in jail. Lost
his career, wife, daughters who were the same age as the
supposed “teen” he was set to meet. - Now, his only sexual
partner is probably “Bubba”; although he is a very large
man, about 6’6” tall and fairly fat. He’s lost EVERYTHING;
for NOTHING. Don’t know when he will get out of prison;
but he’s certainly had a very hard lesson. - My advice:
get yourself a wife and stick with her.

I aspired to have a wife - a Christian wife, a conservative wife - but this former minister was always considered a too-boring Nice Guy by the Church Girls, who dated and married the Bad Boys instead. (Dating and marrying a non-Christian woman was not an option for me.)

Now many of those Church Girls are divorced, and some of their former Bad Boys are on their third-and-counting “Christian” wife.

It is one of the reasons I am now cynical about both Christian and conservative women: just too many choose a guy they think they can “reform” with their love (instead of letting Jesus Christ redeem him, while they look elsewhere for a man who is already spiritually-minded and does not need to be “reformed” by their love).

I could write a book about what I witnessed at a private Christian school, and, later, at two congregations while in church ministry.

Actually, I did once write a 132-page document and distributed it to the staff of clergy and board of elders at the second church, after they resolutely refused for two years to do anything about an abusive husband at my confidential entreaty. I lost all status there of course, but the woman eventually found the strength to leave him rather than commit suicide.

Meanwhile, he simply stole the money from their IRA, sicced the Sheriff on her on false charges so that he could get custody of the children (whom she had home schooled) so as to avoid child support payments, joined a different church, and found another credulous Church Girl to marry him... oh, and he filed for independent bankruptcy, to avoid the debt he had built up in their marriage, leaving her to hold that bag as well (for she did not feel free to file for bankruptcy under false pretenses).

By the bye, he was better liked at that former church than I was, though I served on church staff. Too bad he was an adulterer, a rapist, a liar, and a thief - otherwise, he was a great guy!

Rather than confront and admonish the Bad Boys, and the Church Girls who choose them, today’s non-judgmental churchianity prefers to confront and admonish (i.e., judge) a man like me for being judgmental.

Where I used to live, a lawyer with a wife and two tweens (one boy, one girl) tried to hook up with a “14 year old” on a field trip to the Statehouse. The girl was really an undercover decoy cop. The lawyer lived next door to one of my best friends at the time of the incident. Yes, he lost everything, and he’s still in jail. It’s exactly where jerks like this ought to be.
