Whether you realize it or not, the original Power Rangers were already ‘gayed up’.
David Yost, who played “Billy” the Blue Ranger, was gay. They kept it quiet, Burberry the series after co planning that everyone from the producers down to his fellow actors were discriminating against him because of his orientation.
