A lot slower than a wood chipper. :-D
“They also dont want to let Maggie know theyre heading for The Saviors because Maggie has taken over the planning for a combined raid and she wouldnt want them going out on their own.”
......not because Maggie has some pride—”I’m in control, bitches!”—issues, but because when S & R fail (and they will, I don’t doubt), it will likely precipitate Negan coming down severely on Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom, ruining the overall plan to attack Negan by killing people, finding and destroying attack supplies/equipment, and ruining resolve and morale.
The true purpose of Rosita and Sasha going to the Savior's compound was to kill Neegan. Meeting up with Eugene was simply unforeseen by them. Not there to rescue Eugene, they are there to kill Neegan.
Apparently, I did not see the part of the program where the kill-Negan plan was discussed.
Rosita and Sasha were both acting really depressed, like they both expected to die, which was confusing to me, because I thought they were there to rescue Eugene.
I really enjoy Eugene's character for some reason.
He reminds me of J.R. Ewing from the original “Dallas” TV show.
Except that Eugene doesn't have any money, or any place to spend it, even if he did have money.
