This $352K gamble is why Brent Musburger rushed out to Vegas

Brent Musburger sat surrounded by bookmakers with $352,000 in cash sitting in front of him Sunday right after the NCAA Tournament brackets were announced on CBS, one of his former employers in the broadcasting business.

VISH (Vegas Stats & Information Network) is available on Sirius/XM although at this point the programming is rather limited. I listen to it to see people who put money where their mouth is analyze games. Hopefully it will survive through the upcoming football season. Musburger's signature into "You are lookin' live!" was gambling related. Supposedly it was to show gamblers the actual game conditions before there was weather channel and weather websites. The buy mentioned in the article had a horrible Thursday of NCAA betting. He won only 2 bets against the line.

I don’t gamble; never have. Now, I am thankful Musberger has VSIN because it means I don’t have to endure or suffer through him calling SEC games. Like Vitale, the games took a backseat to his self aggrandizement. Good riddance.

He trashed Nebraska football on a broadcast years ago and the following summer, he was at the College World Series in Omaha where he was booed when introduced. Pompous @$$ acted like he couldn’t figure out why.
