Dan Patrick is grinning somewhere. He made the right choice when he left the mother ship and started his own TV/Radio program. He keeps politics to an absolute bare minimum. Plus he's got that 'Wall of Morale" thing goin' on which is a plus ;o)

Dan Patrick, like Colin Cowherd, wanted tighter control over the production content of their radio shows. That's why Dan Patrick has his own shows using a studio built by NBC Sports, and Colin Cowherd went to FOX Sports 1/FOX Sports Radio with a much larger TV studio and complete control over content.

I would not be surprised that both Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic leave ESPN and become the East Coast morning drive hosts of a new radio TV show on NBCSN/NBC Sports Radio or FOX Sports 1/FS1 on a show from 6 to 9 am Eastern time.

I went to school with Dan Patrick (his real last name is Pugh.). He was a year ahead of me in school. We sat next to each other in study hall a couple of years. He was SO funny; he would always tease me (in a nice way) I think he was voted Class Clown”?? He was a good basketball player for our dear “Mason Comets”, back in the day. LOL! Nice family. His mother just recently passed away.
