Different time, different story.
Whatever the earlier Irish, Italian and Polish immigrants did regarding handouts and gang activity, we can argue this on and on.
But if we did, we would be forgetting the most important attribute (besides being illegal) of those earlier immigrants compared with today’s Hispanic immigrants.

The most important thing the original immigrants gave to this country:
Their willingness to assimilate.
What you want is to get rid of the primary system and go back to smoke filled rooms.

Immigrants who don’t assimilate are not immigrants, they’re invaders.
Stealing the country.
We cannot have a centralized power structure in a free society, because it is going to draw those who wish to control everything, and they are going to use it to control everything.
If a man wants to be free, then a man cannot give another person power over him, or he will not be free.
Man cannot be trusted with power over other men.
