Not that I'm complaining, but I never had the chance for Spring Break. The first four days were spent at "Spring Camp", at Fort Lewis. Mostly harassment as a freshman-junior, seniors ran the show.

Proud to say that my class agreed unanimously to eliminate the harassment, focus on training. It's miserable enough to be doing 40 foot rope drops into frigid Lewis Lake, without being treated like a grunt.

By the end of those 4 days, I was content to simply relax the remainder of the week. IIRC, my best spring break was staying at a friend's house in Port Townsend, WA. He lived near the site where Officer and a Gentleman was filmed.

For 3 years, we went to Key West. Very nice. Lots of fun.

One of my frat bros got picked up by a cougar and spent the week at a sweet hotel that was much nicer than the tent he brought.
