We have plenty of these pests on our ranch on the Texas Gulf Coast. They are very smart and avoid traps and nocturnal so you don’t see them in the daylight. You do see the damage they do.
i recall reading that a herd of hogs in Texas had switched to eating deer, running them into bard wire and killing them.
