These pictures were taken much earlier in the day.

The AP KNOWS these pictures were taken much earlier in the day.

Yet they published them yet again, this week.

Nonsense.

I honestly don’t care about the pictures other than it shows how many people traveled long distances to be there, as opposed to Zero’s innaug, where the people were largely minority residents of the city.

Why shouldn't a Democrat draw a bigger crowd in D.C., a city that votes over 85% Democrat in the quadrennial presidential election, even in GOP wave years such as 1984?

Who, exactly was Trump running against? And since when did we begin determining who is the rightful POTUS by the turnout for the inauguration?

And for relevance - Trump’s crowd was the largest turnout for a GOP inauguration on record.

(and never mind that DC and the surrounding area is overwhelmingly Democrat/Liberal - and FAR more inclined to turn out for a POTUS more matching of their position. Many of those attending Trump’s inauguration came from DC.

And then there is the little timing issue that others have mentioned.

I do not care about crowd sizes. I’m glad we have our President. I was sure he would be cheated out of the vote. There were “dangerous sharks” in every direction! Still are, come to think of it.

Only a retarded, fascist snowflake would still shive a git about this nonsense. The vast majority of Americans have moved past this bull**** a long time ago. Keep counting retards!

BTW: It is common knowledge that the majority of AMERICANS who voted for PRESIDENT Trump had to work that day unlike the Obama voters who are always off and don’t have anything better to do.

I have no idea why the AP or the liberals in general think this matters. Liberals tend to have meaningless jobs or no jobs at all - as long as mom is willing to pay for a plane ticket to Washington, they’re free to go celebrate Obama’s election or march around in pink hats. Non-liberals are more likely to be too busy doing real work.

In the surrounding counties in Maryland and Virginia, there are over 4 million voters who turned out for HRC. That's 4 million home-field players who live less than a half hour ride from the Capitol. Plus, Inauguration Day is a day off for democrat government workers. Democrats will always have an easier time raising a crowd for an inauguration.

Who really cares? Who is going to remember 50 years from now? The man is President. His name is on the list and he even has his own number—45. LBJ took office in an airplane. Gerald Ford and Harry Truman didn’t get inaugural balls. Maybe it mattered when Lincoln was inaugurated in 1865 but given the number of people listening to tv, radio, and the internet, who cares how many people were standing in the street watching?
