The head cover, called the "Nike Pro Hijab," boasts a single-layer pull-on design made from lightweight polyester in dark, neutral colors. The fabric's tiny holes will make it breathable while remaining opaque, a requirement for hijab-wearing women. Nike (NKE) said it began developing the hijab after some Muslim athletes complained about wearing a traditional head scarf during competition.

nike can go ### themselves
great marketing too. spend a bundle to cater to 1 percnt of the population, which won’t buy it anyway
and spend this money on a group that Trump hopes to stop from coming in
bud, target, coke, nike, starbucks, fiat, all marketing geniuses /s
Nike’s next product will be a Beater Stick. They just take their golf clubs and remove the heads. Both Carbon Fiber and Steel shanks available.
Nike has outstanding margins on their products and hit one billion Muslim women on the world Nike may have found a good marker even if only 10% of them buy the Nike Hijab.
That’s 100 million Nike hijabs with a profit of $10.00 per unit.
“Liberals make absolutely no sense to me. Their logic is like a pretzel.”
Subversives have no logic. They don’t think about what they’re saying. They’re merely parrots squawking out mantras—as they’re commanded. These walking dead think they’ll get something if they kiss enough of their rear ends. They’ve arrived!
Yes, breathing is important.
Essentially a Ninja mask, how innovative.
That hijab isn’t covering her face, legs or bottom area. Let the stoning commence.
Next on the drawing board:
Codpieces for priests!
Haven’t bought Nike’s since at least the Mid-90’s when as HS student I gagged at the thought of their damn Michael Jordan worship products.
Thanks for giving me more reasons to NOT BUY your overpriced crap made overseas Nike!
Nike would do anything for a buck.
Seems like this only became a problem recently. I wonder what changed.
There is nothing wrong with the “hijab” (the Arabic word for veil). The burka is another thing entirely.
A hundred years ago (and all times prior), Christian women of nearly all denominations and affiliations wore hats, scarves, or head coverings to church because of what the Bible — not the Koran — teaches about women covering their heads. (See 1 Corinthians 11.)
Muslims are very diverse. While the religion is ill-equipped to deal with the Satanic forces that operate in this world to spread evil, most Muslims actually aspire to doing good and being good people.
I as much as anyone here would like to see an end of Islam, but most Muslims are victims, born into this cult religion. They did not (and most never do) have a choice in the matter. I am for them having a choice.
Here is a good video from a man who recounts his work as a missionary in Africa whose 16-year-old son died there:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TAbJeFMrvM&t (around the 23 minute mark is this part of the story)
Yes, it was Muslims that were attacking, kidnapping, and killing Christians. But it was also Muslims who were his security guards. One Muslim helped with the logistics of the charitable help and was his point of contact to communicate back to supporters in the US. So he contacted him by radio (from Kenya to Somalia) and told him that his son had died and to let supporters back home know. The radio went silent. A few days later this man showed up at his door (it was an Easter Sunday, and they were about to bury their son). The man had immediately put down the radio and walked to come join the family to bury, in his words, “our son”. He had walked through mine fields, ridden on goat trucks and on camels. He had crawled past fighting African clans. He went five days without food to get there. He sat with the parents and cried with them. Some Muslims are like this. Not all are terrorists.
This man heard the Gospel for the first time. He went back and essentially preached to his fellow Muslims.
The Islamic attacks on western civilization originate from Islamic regions of the world where Christians have abandoned the command of Christ to go into ALL of the world and preach the Gospel. Perhaps God is allowing many Muslims to come here since we failed to go there.
Regardless, Christians need to return to their roots. Most Christians have very little knowledge about what the Bible teaches and are ready to attack everything that they have come to accept culturally as being “Christian”.
Feminism, as practiced today, is anti-Christian. (It also happens to be anti-women.)
The modesty practiced by most of Islam is more in keeping with what the apostles universally taught for Christian women to practice.
What our founders learned was that true religion can be a positive influence culturally, but becomes very dangerous when it is forced upon a populace by the government of a nation or empire.
Now that is festive.
Nike has chosen a side in the War on Women.
I want to see a Nike ad showing a transexual wrestling a muslim woman in a Just-Do-It burqua-wrap.
Give the people what they want.
“Give the people what they want.”
Maybe Nike’s slogan ought to be, “Just do it...but don’t lose your head”.
Just do it, don’t ask questions.
