Hours before President Donald Trump will address the nation in a joint address to Congress, abortion activist Rosie ODonnell is set to lead a protest against him outside the White House.
The pro-abortion talk show host and the president have a long-standing feud that dates back to before he was elected. The two have been known to fight on the social media network Twitter.
ODonnell will lead a rally today called the Resistance Address and part of the rallys agenda is to promote abortion among other political issues. That stands in stark contrast to the theme of Tuesdays Congressional address, which is the renewal of the American Spirit.
Heres more:
The effort is aimed at sending a clear message outside of Trumps front door that his agenda does not represent the values of the American people, a news release says.
Organizations participating in the rally in Washingtons Lafayette Park include the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOn.org, Food & Water Watch, National Nurses United and Our Revolution, among others.
ODonnell and Trump have been engaged in a longtime, ongoing war of words.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer said that the theme of Trumps Tuesday address to Congress which isnt technically a State of the Union will be renewal of the American spirit.

In 2015, ODonnell said womens rights are under attack in America and that politicians are undoing all the advances abortion activists have made.
ODonnell told Jenny Hutt on SiriusXMs radio program that she believes there is a war on women. She said, Bigger than any specific people, there is a war on women that is happening in this country. Women fought for equality in this country, and right now, politically, its being taken away from us.
Then, unbelievably, ODonnell said she would like to do this to pro-lifers: Id like to take my period blood I no longer have and write, youre all asshs. Id like to smear it all over some peoples faces.
Additionally, during the interview with Hutt, she said that London Marathoner Kiran Ganhis decision to run without a tampon while menstruating is a critical demonstration for womens rights.
As LifeNews previously reported, ODonnell canceled her plans to adopt another child after finding out that he faced health problems.
She having a pie eating contest?
Why would an avowed lesbian care anything about abortion?
It’s not like she’d ever have one.
I’m glad they chose her. She epitomizes the ugly face of the Demonicrat Party.

As a precautionary move in response to Rosie’s appearance, a number of Washington D.C. restaurants cancelled their “all you can eat” buffets.
