I met OJ in Miami Dade Florida in 2009 just three weeks before he went back to Nevada. They introduced me to him at the Hotel bar and little did I know we would over the next 17 days form a friendship. He would come to the hotel bar everyday... I was on a Medivac to Baptist Hospital hence my free time. Everyday the desk would request me to come down to the bar and OJ and I would watch football together. We watched the Ohio State - USC game which opened the season and of course his team won... We talked about who was hurt the most, he had two sets of replacement knees and lots of of surgeries; me just back surgery, ankle surgery and knee surgery for a bad parachute jump at Fort Bragg. We talked about everything. He talked with lawyers in front of me and signed a football for me over their objections. I still remember what the lawyer said, "don't sign it, you are probably going to jail for your signature" and OJ told him to shut up, that I was his friend.
Did OJ do it... in my opinion yes. OJ would have been a Special Ops soldier if he had taken the military route. He is just like the many other vets I have served with who killed people in war - he has the AIR about him.
All in all, I liked the guy personally. However, during those few weeks he was acused of hitting his blond girlfriend (whom I met as well), and it was the local TV - she said her daughter hit her.... ha!

I’m sure that he was a nice guy. A charming guy. A psychopath who killed at least two people.

All in all, I liked the guy personally. Great story. Sociopaths tend to be very charismatic.

The AIR of a killer?
I find that comparison BS, he never served.
I also had to kill in war but don't consider myself a killer, just doing what you had to do.
Perhaps I'm just misjudging what you meant.
