There have been books about the women portrayed in Hidden Figures, but my point is they’ve been snubbed by those whose agenda is affirmative action and quotas. Don’t blame the “post literary society”. This movie has been popular far exceeding expectations. Until now, the information hasn’t been easy to find.
I don’t think anybody has really been snubbed, there’s a billion things to make movies about, somethings just get to wait, meanwhile books. Since there have been books about it the info has been plenty easy to find to anybody who could be bothered. That’s the only real difference, movies get these ad campaigns and MAKE people look, books just come out.
