It's fact. The professional accomplishments of these women are well-chronicled. One of them, Katherine Johnson, is still alive at 98 years old. Until now, the accomplishments of these women, who succeeded on their own merits, have not seen the light of day. One can only assume it's because they did it on their own, within the system.
Could it be that Affirmative Action and Quotas, by holding minorities to a lower standard, have held minorities back by not demanding they reach their full potential?
I wouldn’t say it hadn’t seen the light of day. There’s books about them and what they did. Of course we’re a post literary society so maybe books aren’t the light of day.
