Habitable is really too click-bait(y).
There are so many factors that would be needed to make anything there livable. One thing I’ve not seen is the presence of a gas giant to shield these planets from asteroids and comets.
The star itself isn’t supposed to be much larger than Jupiter.
And I cant imagine that this system is that stable since these habitable zone of a star this size would barely reach past Mercury here.

Those aren’t planets. Two of them are Michael Moore. And Rosie O’Donnell accounts for another couple. Then there’s Lena Dung-ham ...

Brian Williams has already been there to do a remote broadcast. Amazing how he gets around. He said there were dead bodies floating past his spaceship...

This illustration shows the possible surface of TRAPPIST-1f At least as accurate as the Canals on Mars.

Shouldnt they put in factors like effect of entropy on chemical life systems, chances of mass extinctions, war with other living creatures, cosmic rays, protective magnetic fields, survival of the luckiest considerations and other factors helpful or inimical to life and culture in that equation?

Yes, they need to be mostly on a plane facing us ... but there are so many, many stars, statistically, many of them have to be ‘facing’ us.
