I always wonder when exactly it became cool to be gay.
Its one thing to tolerate homosexuality but another to positively affirm and celebrate it.
And what’s with liberal young women bragging about having gay friends??? Is that some mark of prestige now, that you have gay friends????
I was talking to someone recently and they were stunned, when I said I had never known anybody openly gay.
I may well have known or worked with gay people. If so they were not “out” , or were not “out” to me.
