Teased during the latest episode of Legion on Fox, fans got a new look at Ridley Scotts Alien: Covenant in The Prologue: Last Supper video, a short that introduces the crew of the colony ship, Covenant.

Looks good. But why does the gay agenda always have to find its way into everything?
Outside of Hollywood it plummets to 2 percent.
And yet they wonder why there is such a disconnect...
No matter. I've no interest in seeing this. The Alien franchise ended as the credits roll in Aliens. Everything after that is just a bad dream Ripley is having in hypersleep en route back to Earth.
Deliberate social engineering. Inflate the numbers of homosexuals, ethnic minorities and now transgenders in media so that your numbers seem bigger and thus their demands more reasonable.
It does seem like in an endeavor as expensive as space travel and colonization, that it would be something of a waste to send a gay couple...
Homo COLONISTS ?!
Why bother?
How exactly do homosexuals contribute to colonizing anything? Once again PC runs amuck.
Yep, a real loser horror film right from the promotional trailer ...
This is just another example of the lack or originality in Hollywood. There's no reason to keep making sequels/prequels to this story. This kind of crap is as bad as the endless remakes coming out of Hollywood.
Hollywood didn't used to do this. When Errol Flynn became an overnight star after Captain Blood, he didn't star in Captain Blood II and Captain Blood III. Instead, he made The Charge of the Light Brigade, The Prince & the Pauper, Elizabeth & Essex, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk and many other adventure and romance films rather than the same one over and over.
Trailer is valueless.
The only good thing is seeing Fassbender as another “David” type android. Although another rogue android in an “Alien” movie will be tiresome.
Excellent analysis, our thoughts exactly really the dreck that followed after Aliens. That said, the latest movie is purported to be a prequel to Alien.
I think Ridley Scott has to make up with the liberals like Mel Gibson did.
The original Alien movie was probably unpleasant for male homosexuals.
A monster sticks its organ into the mouth of a man and something evil comes of it. Seems kind of homosexual.
The movie Prometheus goes to great lengths to negate the original film.
David puts some alien slime in a glass and that infects the male scientist. The male scientist then has sex with the female scientist and she conceives an alien baby.
So in Prometheus, regular sex produces evil.
Never mind the fact that the alien slime had to get into the male scientist’s semen and that according to Darwin, the alien baby would be at least 3/4 human.
Fox's "24: Legacy" has a homosexual couple at the center of CTU. One of the reasons I bailed after episode 2.
There’s lots of reasons to keep making sequels and prequels: $$$. Movies are very expensive, have a very limited revenue window, and the industry is risk averse. So they go to “proven properties”. Also it tends to renew awareness of the old property and bump home revenue, cash on both ends.
Funny you pick Captain Blood since Flynn’s version was a remake, then 2 years later they did a radio drama version. Hollywood’s been looking to juice known properties since day one.
The original Alien is very heavy on the rape metaphors. From the way it’s “conceived” through to how Ash tries to kill Ripley (cramming a rolled up magazine down her throat).
He picked that thread back up in Prometheus with the Shaw thing. The part you forgot there is that she’s supposed to be sterile, so she’s not really “pregnant” through fertilization.
Ok. A homosexual picked to be on a Colony ship??...( were being fertile and able to procreate would be a fundamental requirement)
Taking a gay on a Colony ship is as logical as taking an infertile person when there are plenty of healthy fertile people to pick to take. You want the best most healty gene pool people to take...
I’ve joked about this that the left would be that politically correct nuts

Yes, but the earlier version was a silent film, which is pretty much apples and oranges. Flynn's The Dawn Patrol is a remake of a sound film, though. I am not opposed to remakes on general principle, if the remake is an improvement on the original or a vastly different take on the original. Most modern remakes are not improvements, IMO.
I am bothered more by sequels and prequels that either tell a part of a story that does not to be told (see the Lucas Star Wars prequels, which told how a story we had already seen to its conclusion began), or the sequel Star Wars: The Force Awakens which is essentially a remake of the first Star Wars film from 1977. I get why they do it. Everything is about money. I'm just saying why I don't like a lot of modern movies. Just because something makes money does not make it good. Prostitutes and drug dealers do it for the money too.
Lol James Franco and Danny McBride in an Alien movie. Is the xenomorph queen going to be voiced by Seth Rogan?
