Yes these are people looking at fossils and doing wild guess work. But this does not necessarily mean evolutionary theory is wrong. When questioning the validity of any theory or doctrine, I think it only fair to critique the most plausible forms of it. There are silly people with silly versions of any theory or doctrine out there.
