in protest of reports that President Donald Trump is allegedly considering cuts to arts funding.

Let's put aside the obvious reaction to this -- that state sponsorship of "the arts" is one of the most Orwellian / totalitarian things imaginable. The interesting question to me is how does a Leftist honestly believe that cutting off funding to the NEA and PBS is a totalitarian move? Do they truly equate public subsidy with freedom?

They somehow think it is not totalitarian of them to impose taxes on my free speech so that they can get their speech “subisdised” through PBS while they are on welfare.

It is union government thug business generalized

***Do they truly equate public subsidy with freedom?***

The useful idiots do, the ones pushing this meme completely embrace the hypocrisy because they know that most people have not been taught to think this through. Public education strikes again.
