It was sad enough seeing Glenn Campbell struggling through his last tour years back. Heavy drinking definitely seems to have correlation with Alzheimers/dementia.

I think that head injuries may play a part as well...My sister never drank, but was in Atleast two car accidents where she struck her head....She is in stage 6 of 7 for early onset dementia...

So does metabolic syndrome, type II diabetes and insulin resistance. We are on the cusp of an epidemic in the US. Thank Ancel Keys.
