I thought it was a badge of honor to be gay. Or is that just in America?
I think we have had the conversation back when coming out was a “thing”. As “things” go it was probably IMHO the worst “thing” that could have happened. Much of the world still regards death as the solution to the problem, and that is a problem. Even the so called civilized world had the death penalty for homosexuals for hundreds of years. So, I’m just asking, is it a good “thing” to come out of the closet, or were “things” more reasonable and civil with homosexuals having to deal with their own issues rather than trying to get the whole entire world engaged in their cause?
I must have been thinking along similar lines: "ooooohhhh.... a social register!"
