I’m in law enforcement and 22Lr is nothing to sneeze at. It does weird things in the body, like following arteries down limbs and taking weird paths. The mobs weapon of choice was a silenced 22 for a long time. They knew once it entered the skull, it was unlikely to exit, instead bouncing around inside.

J&G firearms is importing surplus beretta 71’s with fake silencers “permanently” attached for about $250. The fake suppressor is added to make it importable (stupid NFA). the suppressor is easily removed (or so I am told).

This is a perfect example of why we need more gun control in this country. If you own a gun you need to get out to the shooting range more often. If the guy had more practice and better gun control he would not have missed so much. Wild shooting and a clear lack of gun control can result in innocent bystanders getting hurt.
Walther makes a .22 PPK/S with muzzle adaptor to accept a suppressor. Check out the vids; kinda neat.
I like Berettas and the Model 71 was used by Mossad to hunt down the muzzie scum of the 1972 Olympic massacre; eleven rounds pumped into each for the eleven Israelis murdered there.
Am going to experiment with reduced load .22 lr for less noise but still effective. My Erma PPK .22 lookalikes are fun to shoot.

Years ago there was a gang hit in a Seattle park.
The victim was shot in the back of the head, close range, and the banger thought he had done the job.
The bullet bounced off and just knocked him out instead. He was found in the park by passersby and came to a few minutes later.
It beats the heck out of your finger or the 44mag. back home in the closet?
