They just stuck Matt Damon in that movie to say “Starring Matt Damon.” I saw the movie. There is ZERO reason to have Matt Damon.

The moving is just a Chinese version of Waterworld. Enjoyable at times for the visuals then you wonder, “what the hell did I just watch?”

As with many of our MAGA inspired viewing and discretionary purchasing decisions, my wife and I really struggled deciding if we should see the Matt Damon movie. It seemed action packed. But we decided not to see the movie because of his strong support for the Hildabeast. Since Friday, I did some research and found this.

On CNBC, Wednesday, 18 Jan 2017. “First of all, I wish him well and we all must. A successful American president is good for all of us and we really have to be rooting for him right now,” Damon said.

I read the entire article and did not see the normal hollywood libertard total mental meltdown. He actually sounded reasonable. Its refreshing to see someone in Hollywood that is actually reasonable and that’s good enough for me. I’m seeing the movie.

“I particularly like “House of Flying Daggers”, one of the most romantic movies of recent years.”

Try to see “The Road Home” (if you haven’t already). :-)

We saw it because my daughter was owed a movie and Great Wall was the least bad of the dismal selection on offer. I didn’t expect much and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a Chinese movie with Matt Damon tossed in to give it some legs in non-Chinese markets. It struck me as primarily a “China discovers special effects” flick. Lots of monsters and lots of very stylized fighting acrobatics. It’s pretty silly if you stop to think about anything, but it’s a mostly nonstop action flick, and no sillier than most movies of that type. It also felt like a movie designed with the video game knockoff in mind.

The wife and I saw John Wick 2 yesterday - entertaining even though it went a bit over the top with the killing - made it less believable.

Curious to see when the 3rd comes out to seal what will obviously be a trilogy.
