I think it must have been another dam that was taken out, Hetch Hetchy provides the water supply to San Francisco. Although there is a group that wants to remove the dam and restore the valley, I doubt that will ever happen. It would impact the SF Liberals too much.

If one can imagine Hetch Hetchy valley pre-dam area it rivaled the magnificence of Yosemite. BUT, since it quenches San Fagsicko’s water needs it shall remain forever dammed. Instead, Brown will destroy the dams of Klammath which are nothing special.
