FBI and IRS agents today conducted an operation at the law office of State Senator Carlos Uresti, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The operation took place at Uresti's private law office on Quincy Street, just off I-35 on the north end of downtown.An FBI agent confirmed only that agents are conducting 'lawful law enforcement activity' at the office.
They are being assisted by San Antonio Police, officers are keeping bystanders at bay.It is not clear what the agents are looking for. The IRS has not returned a call seeking comment.

Carlos “Charlie” Uresti is an attorney and Democratic State Senator, also a Marine Reserve officer from what I read in Wikipedia.
Democrat naturally, otherwise the headline would be “leading conservative republican tea party ultra right winger Senator Uriseti.....”
Well since IRS is mentioned, I am assuming that it is either some type of tax shelter that is borderline illegal or there is a client that is having tax issues and they suspect that the information is being stored / withheld by the office.
Another site said it pertains to something called “the four winds matter.” Any locals know what that is?...

Allegedly...he was counsel for the company which exaggerated its assets and defrauded investors... received some payments etc which he did not disclose, etc....
Local news says it has to do with a fracking company that he was involved in.

Sounds like another fascist “Democrat” who doesn’t think he should have to pay taxes. There’s a lot of that going around these days.
That’s just the Al Capone reason for the raid. Something else is on those computers.
There is more going on than tax issues. If the IRS agents felt that they needed firepower on hand they would have called in TIGTA The Inspector General of the Treasury something or other. Sounds like FBI called the IRS.
