The German people could have stopped Hitler the moment he opened his mouth. They didn't. Instead they launched a six-year cataclysm humanity barely survived and cried that they were the victims. German patriots began plotting to get rid of Hitler as early as 1938, but don’t let facts get in the way of your story.
