If you really want live-action science fiction awfulness, there’s always “Far Out Space Nuts.” That was a Saturday morning kid show from Sid and Marty Krofft featuring Bob Denver and Chuck McCann as two astronauts that…get lost…in space. Imagine Gilligan and the Skipper in outer space. This was during the time Space: 1999 and Star Trek: The Animated Series was on and, even as kid, I though FOSN was unwatchable.
Land Of The Lost wasn’t that bad.
It beat a lot of the rest of Sid & Marty fare.
