When I bring up Salvage 1, no one has even heard of it but it ran for 13 shows or so.
I watched every single episode and I like the show. The entire premise of the show hinged on the special rocket fuel they had developed that had much more energy than what NASA was using. They used a converted concrete mixer as their space capsule.

. isn't that the one where the lead character was some kind of junk man who built a rocket in his back yard?
I remember it was kind of a comedy as well.
Salvage I had a bit of anti government regulator spin to it.
