Yup, I never missed an episode. I also liked Star Trek *Enterprize* with Scott Bakula. I did not care for the *The Next Generation* shows.

My kids and I have started watching a Next Generation episode once a week. I am now reminded of how *LIBERAL* they were.

I remember back in the 1990s I eventually got tired of the Liberal idiocy and I just stopped watching the show. The show where Riker was involved with the homosexual alien was the last straw for me.

NextGen was hard fro me to watch in college for those reasons. The show felt like an extension of a politically correct campus on Halloween.

My favorite moment in the show was when Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden) was launching into one of her PC rants on Q (John Delancey) and, in mid rant, he turns her into a barking, yapping, howling Irish Setter. I roared with laughter. Q snaps his fingers and she’s still ranting and wagging her finger at him. It was the best Trek moment and no one ever brings it up.

The odd thing about Q is that he’s basically Star Trek’s version of The Great Gazoo. Once you have that parallel stuck in your head, it’s hard not to remember it when watching Q deal with Picard and his crew.

I don't recall finishing a single episode of the Next Generation series. The closest I came was the movie Star Trek *Generations* which also starred Patrick Stewart.

I don't believe Stewart is gay, but he exhibits those traits to such an extent that I find him unwatchable. lol
