TV series, not movies.
Otherwise Jupiter Rising would be near the top.

I think B5 was these written SciFi series ever to be on TV.
Episode where they were worried about the physical destruction of the universe? I don’t remember that one!
Can I have the episode name so I can rematch?
Maybe it was meant metaphorically. Like when people say this will ‘destroy the world’, they don’t mean actual physical destruction of the planet.

Oh. And I distinguish between super-heroes and science fiction. Even if, technically, I shouldn’t. So, The Amazing Spider Man can be dropped, too.

I liked the original Star Trek but they had some weak episodes.
I have been watching it every Saturday night and for the last several weeks the show was pretty bad. Last night was a little better. They are in the last season and It definitely seems to be going down.
It was probably time to go ahead and end it when they did.

I loved Logan’s Run! That’s a classic.
Battlefield Earth should be on this list and NOT Logan’s Run.

Very subjective. I find Space 1999 to be one of the best shows, albeit monstrously flawed in premise.
I'll second that! I watched Space:1999 when I was 10 - 14 years old and loved every minute of it.

Lost in Space was saved by the hilarious Dr. Zachary Smith (Jonathan Harris).

Yes Star Trek TOS went into a tailspin in its last season. The worst episode being the one about the space hippies! I can’t remember if that was in the last season or not but it was an absolute stinker! I still refuse to watch it.

No such list is valid that leaves out Babylon5 Babylon 5 was an awesome series. My kids and I watch an episode once a week. The problem with Babylon 5 is that you have to watch about 20 episodes to start getting an understanding of the larger plot arc.
Yes, the special effects are cheesy, but that was a consequence of the technology available at the time. Babylon 5 was really a brilliant piece of work.

1999 had the visuals, music but I have to agree the premise had problems.
The second season is what I’d rather forget about.

These are BAD shows. B-5 was fantastic! Agree. Babylon 5 was an awesome series. It's biggest problem was you had to watch a lot of episodes to get a feel for it, and a lot of people didn't watch it long enough to see what was special about it.
