I totally forgot about Ethan, I think that was his name. He was with Tara when they got attacked by the sand walkers on the bridge. He would be someone that Rick would be amused to see. Ethan may have found and brought these people to help attack Negan. I remember Ethan having some issues and wanted to go on a 30 day run with Tara to gather his thoughts.

I agree that the group wasn’t from the Kingdom because of the next week’s clip shown during the Talking Dead. It showed the main fighter from the Kingdom still there. So they have to be completely Newbies, too many men to be the Amazons. Now we have Alexandrians, Kingdom people, a few Hilltoppers, Newbies and possibly the Amazons to join up to fight Negan. Maybe.

“... the final camera shot....”

I must be a horrible, horrible person BUT I think leaving Negan’s fate to the imagination of the viewer would be disappointing. If we had to sit through the “Lucille” scene... I want justice (especially for Glen). I know... I need to cut down on the red meat. :)

I FORGOT about that!! Tara found a key card with three P’s on it! Everyone assumed it was Negan’s group.... Your assumption is GREAT!

Apparently I need to keep copious notes in a record book. Maybe the PPP is the name of the newbies’ group, and they are holed up in a hotel in D.C.
I kinda remember the PPP being written on the hotel key so it isn’t the name of the hotel.
People’s Protection Pact? nah...
Of course it could be ‘ddd’ instead of ‘ppp’.
And it may not have been left by Heath, but someone that captured him. Ah ha! So maybe the priest brought the food to barter for Heath’s release.

I think the character that went missing was Heath - young-ish black dude with Buddy Holly glasses and mini-dreadlocks.

My assumption is a process-of-elimination guess, at best.

Even Rick's smile in the ending scene is a puzzle. I took it to mean that he realized that with this new group, they had enough people and firearms to actually beat the Saviors. Others believe it signified his recognizing someone in the crowd. Maybe it was both.

Back at The Kingdom, Daryl probably won't sway Ezekiel much - but his presence there will impact Morgan and (especially) Carol. It is those two who, once they decide to fight, will influence the king.

The problem (at least with me) is that with a long wait from the mid season to now.. I have forgotten A LOT. Yes.. I do absolutely agree that Daryl will be reunited with Carol and inform her ALL that has happened. Those two together are quite the ruthless team.

The smile is confusing. I figured he had to know ONE of them or else he would have assumed it was another “bad” group and they were in deep doo doo. I do have to say that the zombie mowing scene was fabulous! I laughed out loud and thought it was amazing.

The no tv people are almost as bad as vegans.

Yep, it will be up to Daryl to convince Carol to fight again. They might even have to rescue Rick and the others. The remaining group that hasn’t been captured is Carol, Daryl, Carl, Maggie and Carl’s girlfriend IIRC. A few from the Kingdom would help.

Another possibility is Rick’s smile might just be ‘oh crap, we’re in big trouble again’.

The season premiere turned off a lot of people, including me.

Has the guy with the bat been offed Yet? If so, I might give it another look.

Excuse me .... there is gruesome and there is ‘turn-off’ gruesome. That first episode was a turnoff.

I must be okay with a little violence ... I watched every episode prior to that one.

Omigosh, Criminal Minds is awful. They find unbelievably evil people and make us sick. I don’t watch it anymore.

I couldn’t agree more. Most movies could use at least a half-hour in the cutting room, removing excess chases and repetitions.

Well, you are wrong. I care deeply about your TV habits, what you eat and where you shop.

While we’re asking stuff, why are there no fat zombies? There are plenty of fat people, do they suddenly get thin in zombie mode.

Could being a zombie be sold as a weight loss product?

It is impossible to associate with a member of either group for more than 5 minutes without them bragging about either not watching TV at all or not eating meat.

Somebody on Maui caring about what I eat, where I shop,
and what I watch. Maybe I should be annoyed but I am
rather honored someone on the islands is bored enough
to think of me. Coming from Texas do you feel the
slightest bit clostrophobic? OK if I stay at your place
on my next vacation? My college buddy has a condo on
Maui but he says since I still live like we did in
college he doesn’t want me near the place. Anyway, I
could tell you about my eating habits as you are grilling
those Texas style ribs. I make a mean Mai Tai. We
can talk about what I watch on TV and where I shop.
If I am still awake we can talk about what you like
to eat for a few minutes. How ‘bout it?

I'm not a big fan of the CGI Tiger and the whole King Ezekial thing. I'm sorry but half of the people in that community act like they're hanging out at a Renaissance Fair. It may fit in a comic but I don't know about tv. Speaking of which, Negan’s comic book ending won't fit with the show imo either. They'll probably have the Tiger eat him now. ;) The whole Kingdom group seems fake— and I know I'm saying this about a zombie show.

I was kidding... I don’t really care.

But to answer your question, I am only bored because I am recovering from an accident and spending way too much time sitting around watching TV and posting on the net.

I don’t feel in the least claustrophobic because Maui is a big Island with diverse areas and scenery... and an ocean all around it.

I cannot offer you lodging because I live in an Ohana (which means family in Hawaiian) or, in other words, a small house adjacent to my daughter and son-in-law, or what some might call a mother-in-law house.

But thanks for the post ... you must be bored too... maybe bored out of your mind.
