Full Title:
‘Jack and Norman’ details how Norman Mailer helped free a killer from prison, only for him to strike again
This book sounds like a case study in liberal mental disorders and failed liberal policies.

No life is too precious if it helps a liberal feel good about himself.

Norman Mailer killed more people than American Nuclear Power plants.

Just proving once again that the left always gets innocent people killed for the sake of their twisted ideology.

Susan Sarandon also supported the psychopath killer. I never knew that until reading the article.

I was there in 1968 and saw Mailer mount an upturned garbage can in Grant Park Chicago and heard him exhort the crowd just before the Dem Convention and the “police riot.”

Liberals get innocent people killed. Mailer was one of those Liberals.

Back in the day, I read all of Norman Mailer’s books, because he was a very important author, and I used to read just about everything. He had a certain kind of dark skill, but I never liked any of his stuff. He seemed to me to have a moral compass that pointed everywhere but north.

Anyway, it’s been decades since I last read Mailer, and I’ve pretty much forgotten what was in them. Thankfully.

Me neither. And why do they look shocked and annoyed when they are confronted about their gross failure?

Answer: because no one ever told them they were wrong and why.

Susan Sarandon also supported the psychopath killer.

Christopher Walken as well, to judge from the photograph.

One of the lawyers who helped spring Abbott was the son-in-law of a neighbor of mine.

The lawyer was also a big George HW Bush supporter.

I read a few of his books after reading “The Naked and the Dead”, and I thought his books were all crap EXCEPT “The Naked and the Dead”, which was, and still is, a brilliant WWII novel, still one of the best WWII novels ever written.

“Susan Sarandon and Christopher Walken made show-stopping appearances at the trial.”

Sarandon also named her first male born child after Abbott. That is not a joke. She named her son Jack Henry, Jack Henry Robbins taking the last name of his father Tim Robbins. But the “Jack Henry” is after Jack Henry Abbott.

I’d say Walken wised up over time.

Norman Mailer was writing a book about Gary Gilmore called the Executioners Song. (It was made into a movie later.) Jack Henry Abbott was serving time with Gilmore and he reached out to Mailer. Abbott, who murdered behing bars, conned Mailer into taking up for him and he became a darling of the NY elite. Mailer had an affinity for killers and very nearly stabbed his own wife to death.

Once Abbott was freed Mailer hired him as an assistant. Shortly there after he murdered an innocent young man. When Abott was on trial he was still supported by Susan Sarandon and norman mailer. Abbot was convicted and died behind bars

William F Buckley did the same thing.

Liberal or conservative, sometimes “smart” men who fancy themselves so much smarter than others, do incredibly stupid things.

But the late Jack Abbott was a good writer. “The shudder of the dying person with a knife in his heart. There is gentleness in the act of murder.” That guy should not have been put back in jail. /sarc
