Thanks. Interesting I did not know that California banned them starting January 1. I’m not in California, but a general comment here. Trump needs to do something about the states that have unconstitutional and fascist gun laws.

Allow NRA and others file the suits in state courts.

That’s just the tip of the camel’s toe under the tent.

If you did get one before the deadline, you must register it with the state.

The state DOJ is drooling so hard they can’t make up their mind how this is to happen.

So far it may include photos of both sides of your ‘assualt weapon’, money, fingerprints, and more.

You have one year. After that you are illegal. If you change the configuration (different uppers) sounds like trouble.

If you started with an 80%, that is a “Ghost Gun” and must have a serial number. In fact any gun without a SN must get one. Even most old ones must get a SN, i.e., those made before SNs were used.

And no mags over 10 rounds, no grandfather.

And register to buy ammo, face-to-face only. No on-line, no bringing into the state.

And more, via ‘regulations’ as the DOJ tries to implement the new laws.

Oh Yeah. Lead ban statewide for all hunting.
