A great many of the military are still the good guys. That is why the generals who opposed Obama are front and center in the Trump administration. The minute Trump uses the military the Globalist press will be howling like wolves, so I don’t think he will use them unless there is absolutely no choice.

Obama, on the other hand, was sending troops out of the country, and signed orders to make it easy to bring in the UN. I assume that is because it would be easier to use them against the citizens.

While most military are pro - USA, there are some members who were members of gangs, and other groups-so not 100% sure about them, and of course Obama fired about 300 military leaders who didn’t fit his mold.

I’m sure you have heard of the National Guard being called in for various situations? Remember Reagan called in the National Guard to restore order to the Berkley campus when he was Governor?

Nixon activated the Guard for Ferguson, but chickened out and made them sit it out in a near by facility instead of sending them in.

After Katrina, Bush signed legislation that would make it clear that the President can do the same in National Emergency. That definition of national emergency has been expanded to cover civil disturbance. Posse Comitatus is a fig leaf likely to be ignored if action is needed.

“Cut food supply lines. Wait.”

As a driver in a Support Battalion in a previous Army Life, you are spot on!

It makes me sad, but you’re STILL spot on. :(
