From what I understand; Audi’s are the best selling and most liked cars in the EU.

As far as the commercials, I don’t have cable TV service but did watch them on YouTube. The only one that really bugged me was the Lumbar 81 ad. They are basically advocating people from other countries become criminals be illegally entering our country instead of coming through the front door legally so they don’t have to live in the shadows. It also didn’t address the jobs being taken by illegals that legal immigrants or born American citizens need.

I also liked the KIA ad! It was funny and made fun of the eco-freaks. ...None of the other ads made sense to me.

I rate Lady Gaga’s gig at #2 best SB act, next to #1 which was the Rolling Stones. ....She’s got perfect pitch and lots of musical talent. I’ve never seen her being other than straight performer, rather than some of the idiots that always have to insert their racial and political biases in their acts.

The ads were not creative nor memorable. They lost, big waste of money.

and watched Star Trek during half time. Quite enjoyable.

I watched Star Trek as well, from halftime through the end of the third...turned it back on, and Pats had the ball on the five, and scored the next play to make it 28-20...

watched that silly episode where Kirk was mistaken for a tribal god, famous for the antagonist’s hammy acting (behold the god who bleeds!); almost as bad as Atlanta’s performance in the fourth quarter...

Ha! Yeah. Kirock and Salish. Oh...but Miramani. Very easy on the eyes.

There was a ball game on?

all the virtuous anti-football preening can be put aside for another six months, thankfully...

My wife commented during the ad, "No one in it looks like me!"

Why don't these feel good liberals run their humanitarian of the year commercials in Mexico and Saudi Arabia? Both of those nations are xenophobic and Nationalist. Saudi Arabia has a ban on Israelis and has zero tolerance for the practice (even texts) of non-Islamic faiths. Mexico sends back (*send back them") illegal immigrants who enter their nation from their Southern border.

Let me see if I got this right: The founder of Anhauser-Busch came here as a refugee and spent his life on welfare. So when did he start a beer company?

And in the continuing drama of those commercials they can show where women got the vote and used that power to outlaw beer and put AB out of business.

Prince did a fantastic job playing the Super Bowl halftime, in the rain, in 2007. A really terrific show.

Audi’s are waaaay overpriced Volkswagens.

How does that differ from Lexus/Toyota, Acura/Honda, etc.?

I bought my first Audi last May and love it. It is truly an amazing machine. I am still seething about the ad, though, and it has significantly tarnished my respect for the brand.

How does it differ? We were discussing Audi’s not the other brands.
